About Scarborough Gurdwara

Gursikh Sabha Canada, commonly known as the Scarborough Gurdwara, was established in 1979. It serves as a prominent centre for the Sikh community in the Greater Toronto Area. The Gurdwara is located in Scarborough, an eastern district of Toronto that is highly diverse and populated, abutting Lake Ontario. It is home to thriving arts and culture communities, as well as international food scenes and music innovators. The Gurdwara has emphasized equality, togetherness, and service since its inception as part of these vibrant communities. The community kitchen provides Langar to everyone daily, regardless of religion, race, gender, or socioeconomic status.
