St. George TTC Station

St. George Station is a primary transit hub in downtown Toronto, connecting Line 1 Yonge–University and Line 2 Bloor–Danforth on the TTC subway network. Located just north of Bloor Street West between St. George Street and Bedford Road, the station sits at the north-central gateway to the University of Toronto’s St. George campus, steps from major cultural institutions across the Bloor-Yorkville neighborhood.

First opened in 1963 as the northern terminus for the University Avenue subway line extension, the station expanded in 1966 with an integrated lower level to accommodate the east–west Bloor–Danforth line.
