  • Getting There
    • Collective Space is located at 221 Sterling, in the Sterling Studio Lofts just north of the Sterling Road and Perth Avenue tri-intersection. Look out for signage posted in the area.
    • Please note that there is uneven and cracked pavement on the way to Collective Space.
    • Directions from the North: Collective Space is located on the Bloor subway line. From Lansdowne subway walk west on the south side of Bloor St. Take the 2nd left on Ruttan, next left on Merchant Lane and 1st right along the warehouse building. Collective Space is located at the south east end. ​​The door has an awning that says Raw Space.
    • Directions from the South: From the intersection of Dundas St. and Sterling Rd., walk north up Sterling Rd. The road will curve west, intersect with Perth Ave. and then curve north. Just after the intersection, on Sterling Rd., walk east into the parking. Head down the road, past the entrances of both the Sterling Studio Lofts and House of Assembly Building. Continue to the end of the road, turn left (north) and continue up the road. Collective Space will be located on the left (west) side. ​​The door has an awning that says Raw Space.

About Collective Space

Collective Space prioritizes sustainability, shared resources and the necessity of affordable, multi-use, space for interdisciplinary artistic practices. Collaboratively developed by Co-Directors Lara Ebata, Natalie Fullerton and Brandy Leary in 2011, the space has become an important alternative rehearsal and performance venue for theToronto arts ecology.
