Aimed at providing education and outreach to secondary-school students in Toronto, Canadian Art’s School Hop welcomes students into galleries and artists’ studios throughout the year. Designed to enhance art education in public schools, promoting visual literacy, and critical thinking, this free half-day program offers a unique opportunity for a younger generation to participate in its city’s cultural landscape. Approximately 900 students from the Toronto District School Board and Toronto District Catholic School Board attend during three week-long sessions annually.

Registration: Canadian Art provides free transportation and pays local artist-facilitators to lead discussions; teachers and students are provided educational materials, and are welcome to sign up via https://canadianart.ca/school-hop
