Zarmina Rafi (she/her) is a Pakistani-Canadian arts manager, writer and editor. Between 2013 to 2020, she worked with numerous artists from the global south on the realization of multi-scale projects in sculpture, installation, film and sound. In 2018, she was Assistant Curator of the inaugural Lahore Biennale, Pakistan. She was educated at McGill University, Montreal and has been on jury for the Ontario Arts Council, the League of Canadian Poets and for Public Art competitions at Goethe-Institut Pakistan, and the City of Mississauga. Rafi is the recipient of fellowships and grants from Tate Modern, Sharjah Art Foundation, the Federal Chancellery of Austria, KONE Foundation Finland, Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and the Bread Loaf Writers Conference in Vermont.
