Bobbie Dorka (she/her) is an educator with the Peel District School Board specializing in Visual Arts, Dance and Drama education. She has made anti-racism, equity and culturally responsive teaching a priority in her classroom and advocacy platforms. Through her work with arts organizations such as CODE, OAEA, and ETFO Arts, Bobbie has presented at conferences, and worked on writing teams to create new lessons for equity based learning in all the arts with a focus on decolonizing the arts curriculum and avoiding cultural appropriation.
