Using the authentic studio-based method of artistic creation, Blank Canvases was founded with the mission to teach children about real local Toronto Artists. Artist Educators engage our participants in activities that promote creative thinking and inspire them with contemporary art practices and creative sustainable approaches to artmaking. Our unique student-centred facilitation works to emphasizes collaboration and group camaraderie. With partnerships with the Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board, our programming links clearly to the Ontario Ministry of Education Arts Curriculum.
