Ikumagialiit ᐃᑯᒪᒋᐊᓖᑦ (those that need fire) is a performance art band that mixes the best of electroacoustic music with explorations of Inuit spiritual expressions, state-of-the-art projection art and improvisational vocal work. Consisting of award-winning artists Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory, Cris Derksen, Christine Tootoo and Jamie Griffiths, Ikumagialiit brings their unique cultural, gender and genre bend to audiences across Canada and beyond.
