Aatooq (Full of Blood) (2021) is a short film whose title means “full of blood” in the Greenlandic language Kalaallisut. The work blends music, movement, poetry, and visual art to transcend boundaries and challenge societal norms. Different elements—land, body, womanhood—converge in a profound exploration of the rhythmic flow of blood. The film is like a river carving its path through the earth, with sinuous music, intricate choreography, and soulful vocals that defy expectations.
