Women Leading
Women and non-binary artists continue to be drastically underrepresented in the Canadian and global arts landscape. Women artists who are racialized, low-income and 2SLGBTQ+ face even greater barriers to accessing opportunities and recognition.
Women Leading is a community of contemporary art supporters that believe passionately in advancing gender equity in the arts. By joining this community, members contribute directly to supporting projects by women and non-binary artists. Members also gain access to exclusive, year-round programming featuring TBA artists, curators and partners.

Creative City Builders' Fund
Art is essential in the building, design, planning and placemaking of cities. The Creative City-Builders’ Fund supports the transformation and animation of unique sites in communities across Toronto through Biennial exhibitions, public programs, performances and learning experiences.

Learning Fund
We believe that every student deserves access to culturally relevant and engaging arts learning opportunities. Through the Learning Fund, the Biennial provides access to artist-led curriculum tools, school visit programs, and public learning events that centre the voices of historically marginalized communities.
To learn more about how you can help more students access free arts programming that reflects the diversity of our city, please contact giving@torontobiennial.org.
Artist Commissioning Fund
The Toronto Biennial of Art is at the forefront of commissioning works from a diverse range of artists addressing vital issues from a perspective grounded in the contexts and histories of Toronto. To date, we have commissioned over 50 new artworks from artists across Canada and the world. The Artist Commissioning Fund provides artists with access to paid work opportunities, production assistance, mentorship, career development and international exposure.
