Jenny Chen

2024 Program Artist

Jenny Chen is a visual artist and creates art as a way to process the world around her while exploring questions of existentialism and spirituality. Her work incorporates symbols to craft mystical environments, encouraging viewers to contemplate life beyond the material world. She graduated from OCAD University with a major in Drawing and Painting and a minor in Illustration. Since then, she has primarily worked with watercolor, pen, clay, and animation. Jenny’s exhibition history includes the Small Arms Inspection Building, the Toronto Media Arts Centre, and the Living Arts Centre. She has also received grants for her work from the Ontario Arts Council.
