Simon is a seasoned financial industry professional who enjoys connecting people and investing in new businesses. A devoted collector of contemporary art, he is the proud father of five children brimming with life. Professionally, Simon is a Partner in Consulting at EY Canada, where he serves the financial services industry by working with banks, insurers, and asset managers across the country, notably by supporting them in their journey of transformation to meet the challenges of tomorrow. He is also the financial services sector leader for Québec within his firm.
Passionate about the evolution of financial services, Simon personally invests in emerging fintech companies. He is also a member of the board of directors of Finance Montréal, for which he chairs the advisory committee of the Montréal FinTech Station. In order to combine his love of contemporary art with his daily professional life, he recently joined the board of directors of the Toronto Biennial of Art, for which he also serves as treasurer. In addition, he has set up and continues to lead the contemporary art rental program for EY’s Montréal office, in collaboration with renowned local curators.
Simon holds an M.Sc. in finance from HEC Montréal. He has also completed leadership programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Harvard Business School, and the London Business School.
